This house emerges directly from its site. The steep plot presents a six-metre difference in level between the street and the garden.<\/p>\n
The most coherent solution was to invert the typical arrangement: the upper floor contains the entrance hall and distribution space, mediating between the social areas and the private quarters \u2014 three bedrooms with their respective bathrooms.<\/p>\n
Below, on the lower floor, the main living spaces \u2014 sitting room, kitchen and guest bathroom \u2014 open onto an exterior platform that extends into the garden and swimming pool.
\nThe views stretch far into the distance, reaching as far as Sameiro, Braga.<\/p>\n
The construction is straightforward, with the different levels clearly expressed through volume and material finishes. The forms are harmonious and legible, sitting comfortably within the surrounding landscape and architectural context.<\/p>\n
